Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo drive profitable growth of the FMCG import export business through strategic sourcing, margin optimization, and strengthening of the existing team capabilities.*Key Responsibilities:*Identify and develop international suppliers with focus on high margin and fast moving product categories.Drive product portfolio strategy to improve overall margins and reduce low yielding SKUs.Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply conditions to ensure competitive advantage.Build and implement structured sourcing and procurement processes.Guide and upgrade current team capabilities.Identify new market opportunities, product gaps, and emerging trends.Work closely with finance and operations to ensure healthy working capital and inventory turnover.Establish vendor performance tracking and cost optimization initiatives.Ensure compliance with import regulations, documentation, and logistics coordination.Desired Candidate Profile5 to 10 years experience in FMCG import export or trading businessStrong supplier network and sourcing experience across international marketsProven track record in margin improvement and product strategyLeadership ability to mentor and upgrade team performanceStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skillsGood understanding of logistics, import regulations, and documentation.*Reporting To:*Management / CEOKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):*Improvement in gross margin percentageExpansion of high margin product mixSupplier development and cost savings achievedInventory turnover and working capital efficiencyContribution to revenue growth with profitability focus.Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.Note: We also have openings for the same position in **Mozambique, Madagascar, Zambia, Namibia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Oman**.
