Job Summary/Purpose:Manage the logistics and warehouse operations of spare parts in a cost effective manner and in accordance with TMC standards to ensure appropriate inventory levels to meet business needs.Responsibilities:? Strategic:1. Prepare annual plans and budgets to meet the BU/Dept strategic objectives. 2. Monitor implementation of the annual plans and measure achievements of results against budgets and objectives and take corrective measures as appropriate.3. Recommend strategies to enhance performance of the department by reducing cost and optimizing efficiency levels.? Operational:1. Establish the logistic diagram to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.2. Design and monitor execution of the Warehouse operational plan based on total work volume fluctuation.3. Monitor offloading, checking and binning of parts and ensure uploading parts details on IMS.4. Ensure compliance of branches to Maximum Inventory Position, report abnormal variances to Business Director ? Parts & Accessories with recommendations.5. Monitor fulfillment of major Warehouse operational KPIs set by TMC and send monthly status report to TMC.6. Monitor the process of storage of parts in the warehouse as per storage and safety standards.7. Identify slow moving and/or excess stock, conduct relocation of parts, recommend modifications in the bin sizes, warehouse layout to allow maximum utilization of available storage area.8. Monitor discrepancies in each import shipments for excesses, shortages, damages, wrong parts, report to TMC/TMAP and claim reimbursement.9. Review insurance claims for submission to insurance agency on quarterly basis.10. Oversee the process of annual stock count to reconcile, investigate variances and report to Business Director for further action.11. Ensure the execution of Perpetual Count as per the target and review the targets periodically as per the frequency of demand and value basis.12. Plan, design and organize training for parts employees with regard to warehouse operations or innovations in systems as instructed by TMC, Japan.13. Design and implement Warehouse safety action plan on an annual basis and submit report to management and TMC.14. Implement DPOK (Dealer Parts Operation Standard) in MNSS ? Parts Div. and ensure JIT logistics techniques are well implemented in branch operation.15. Approve Parts Warranty Claim and coordinate with Service Dept. for its payment.16. Monitor and Plan the Toyota Genuine Battery Production and warranty claims.17. Resolve escalated customer complaints.18. Monitor maintenance of accurate records, documentation and reports pertaining to various warehouse operations.? People Management:1. Identify, set and agree on KPIs and objectives.2. Prepare performance planning (PP) and conduct performance appraisal (PA) and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel employees on career progression opportunities and approve training requests.3. Recommend employee promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary actions and approve vacation and overtime.4. Identify staffing needs, participate in interviewing panels and take hiring decisions.5. Maintain and promote staff motivation by addressing employee grievances promptly and escalating when necessary and enforcing fair and equitable compliance with Group policies and procedures.? Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.? Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on internal communication portals.? Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.? Perform other duties as requested by management.
