? Takes off quantities from the drawings of all material/works and calculates cost.? Prepares Cost Estimates to ensure project cost parameters and constraints are identified and estimates are completed using the prevailing market rates within agreed time frame to ensure efficiency. ? Prepares Bills of Quantities, descriptions, preamble methods of measurements and schedule of unit rate analysis in accordance with specifications and drawings.? Requests quotations from suppliers/manufacturers for different materials and use historical data to prepare pre-tender estimates to ensure quality standards are met and prices are competitive.? Prepares tender documents.? Issue payment certificates.
