? Have a well knowledge in the materials? Analyze designs prints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates on the company?s system.? Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project? Prepare Projects BOQs and ensure that the materials used are matching the clients? requirements with less? Analyze the completed jobs costs and compare the estimated costs with the actual production costs to work on avoiding extra expenses in the future jobs.? Analyze the material prices and suggest the replacement of any materials which may help in reducing the costs.? Consult with personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve? Go with the account managers on meetings with the clients to be as a consultant to the sales staffs and get better brief on the clients?? Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling? Prepare estimates for the use in selecting vendors.? Prepare certain report and provide to the management as per their requests.? Performs other tasks within one?s capabilities, as may be required by direct manager.
