MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.? Certified & licensed in field of electro-mechanical, power plant, industrial or electrical required. Technical school, military training preferred? Must possess a driver s license from country of origin for the purpose of obtaining a Military or Kuwait driver s license? Must be able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC)Experience :1. Six (6) years of experience in power generation equipment maintenanceSkills :1. Deep understanding of a variety of diesel generator engine models2. Strong understanding of power generation, engine maintenance and minor overhauls3. Understanding of manufacturers technical publications and wiring diagrams, technique of operating and maintaining internal combustion engines and use of multipurpose test equipment4. Principles of operating 2000kVA and smaller diesel engines to include: Caterpillar, Cummins, Mitsubishi and FG Wilson5. Knowledge of electrical codes, utility standards and safety programs as governed by rules, regulations and guidelines of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI and the NEC6. Possess proficient English oral and written communications skills7. Collaborative work style, fostering cooperation, and teamwork8. Exercise discretion and good sound judgment9. Basic computer skillsSUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:Will have direct oversight of Generator Shop personnel
