The role of the Factory Operation Manager includes managing the following departments, productions, maintenance, quality,ÿlogistics, fleet, and facility, overseeing production planning and scheduling, managing productionÿstaff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols, and ensuring customer orders are metÿwith quality products that are delivered on time and within budget.Responsibilities:?ÿProduction Management: Overseeing the production process to ensure products are manufacturedÿaccording to quality standards, specifications, and production schedules. This includes managingÿproduction lines, workflow, and resource allocation.?ÿStaff Supervision: Managing and leading factory staff, including hiring, training,ÿscheduling, and performance evaluation. Ensuring the team is motivated and working efficiently.?ÿQuality Control: Implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure productsÿmeet required standards. This includes addressing any quality issues and implementing correctiveÿactions.?ÿSafety and Compliance: Ensuring the factory adheres to health and safety regulations, as wellÿas environmental and legal requirements. Implementing safety protocols and conducting regularÿsafety training for employees.?ÿMaintenance Management: Overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment toÿminimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Coordinating with maintenance teams orÿcontractors as needed.?ÿInventory Management: Managing raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory.ÿEnsuring materials are available as needed and minimizing excess inventory and waste.?ÿCost Control: Monitoring and controlling production costs, including labor, materials, andÿoverhead.
