JOB VACANCY FOR A REFINERY IN KUWAITLONG TERM POSITION MONTHLY SALARY : 700 KUWAITI DINAR + ACCOMMODATIONJOB DESCRIPTION:BASIC FUNCTIONDirect the work of all personnel in his area, initiate requests for spare parts, special tools and the like, maintainequipment maintenance records, direct maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment including disassemblyand reassembly, diagnose mechanical problems with analytical instruments, perform and/or direct preventivemaintenance and/or overhauls defined in the preventive maintenance program using workshop facilities, ensuresafe working conditions for his personnel. Fully adhere to Fire & Safety Regulations.WORK PERFORMEDA. Planes daily workload of all maintenance personnel in his area as needed.B. Assist in establishing the work schedules in his area.C. Performs Maintenance works in Refineries and/or chemical plants repairs of stationery refinery equipmentsuch as steam boilers, heat exchangers, vessels, towers, direct fired heaters, tanks and associated piping ofall the above equipment.D. Have skill to disassemble and reassemble machinery in accordance with specifications.E. Should be capable of read & understand the engineering drawings and execute the work accordingly.F. Have capability to direct several people working on different jobs in the area.G. Be able to decide on the necessity to repair or replace parts.H. Capable of group communications to direct and co-ordinate work.I. Possess analytical capability.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCEA. Science graduate or Diploma in relevant engineering discipline and Diploma in Industrial Safety.B. Equivalent to HND, HNC or C & G (advanced ) in Mechanical Engineering.C. Twelve (12) years experience in the maintenance of stationery equipment as specified in 2 (c) with at leastfive (5) years in the supervisory position.D. Read, write and speak in English fluently.E. Excellent knowledge in use of computers and related software (MS-Office..etc).F. Shall be well aware of basic refinery safety aspects and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
