Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:Supplier Relationship Management

  • Foster strong relationships with existing suppliers through regular communication, meetings, and visits, ensuring alignment with Abyat Megastores values and standards.
  • Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and performance reviews to assess reliability, quality consistency, and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for supplier inquiries, concerns, and escalations, resolving issues promptly to maintain smooth business operations.
Procurement Coordination
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to develop sourcing strategies, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify potential suppliers, product innovations, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules, using SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or procurement software.
Negotiation and Contract Management

  • Draft sales data, demand patterns, and seasonal trends to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and identify slow-moving or obsolete items for clearance or markdowns.
  • Monitor with merchandising teams to plan product assortments, promotions, and pricing strategies based on inventory insights and market demand.
Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination
  • Utilize with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and carriers to arrange transportation, customs clearance, and delivery of home accessories products from suppliers to Abyat Megastore warehouses or retail outlets.
  • Analyze shipments in transit, monitor delivery schedules, and address any issues or delays in coordination with logistics partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate supply chain processes, streamline transportation routes, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
Quality Assurance
  • Coordinate quality control procedures, inspection criteria, and product specifications in collaboration with suppliers to ensure compliance with Abyat Megastores quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Track regular quality audits, factory inspections, and product testing to verify product integrity, functionality, and safety standards before accepting deliveries into inventory.
  • Optimize quality issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions, implementing measures to address root causes and prevent recurrence, while safeguarding Abyat Megastores reputation and brand image.
