Reporting To: ChairmanÿJob Summary: The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership and vision in developing, the Company?s strategies, tactics and business plans necessary to realize the corporate objectives.The General Manager (GM) manages the overall business to ensure strategic and business plans are effectively implemented, and the results are monitored and reported to the Chief Executive Officer.ÿKey Responsibilities:ÿ?ÿStrategic Planning and Execution:úÿDevelop and implement comprehensive business strategies approved by the Board to achieve company objectives.úÿDrive growth initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and expand market presence.úÿEnsure alignment with the companys mission, vision, and core values.úÿProvide overall leadership and vision in developing the Company?s strategic direction.úÿDevelop and recommend to the Board strategic and tactical plans, including measurable goals and objectives that ensure the Company?s profitable growth and overall success; this includes updating and making changes as required, and involving the Board in the early stages of developing strategy.úÿDevelop and implement primary goals, short- and long-term objectives and operating plans with reference to the Board?s overall approved strategy and monitor and control deviations that occur.úÿDevelop in coordination with CFO, annual operating forecasts of revenue, expenditures, operational results, and financial performance and monitor and control deviations that occurúÿLead and manage the Company within parameters established by the Board and its Sub-committeesúÿManage the overall business to ensure strategic and business plans are effectively implemented, the results are monitored and reported to the Board on an ongoing basis, and financial and operational objectives are attainedúÿImplement the Board-approved plan for senior management development and successionúÿEnsure all operations and activities of the Company are conducted in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations, the Company?s Articles of Association, sound business practice and in accordance with the policies and practices approved by the BoardúÿAttend Board meetings and other Board Sub-committee meetings by invitation?ÿOperational Management:úÿOversee all aspects of Real Estate Management and Support Services Division and oversee the operations of the Financial Services Division.úÿStreamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across departments.úÿMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and make data-driven decisions.úÿDevelop and implement Board approved strategy reflecting long-term objectives and priorities.úÿImplement the corporate governance framework established by the Board.úÿAssume full accountability to Board for all aspects of the Company operations and performance.úÿMaintain ongoing dialogue with the Board and ChairmanúÿEnsure adequate operational planning, risk management and financial control systems are in placeúÿRepresent Company to Major Clients, Professional Associations, Service Providers and RegulatorsúÿExecute Transparent and Comprehensive Management ReportingúÿImplement a robust framework to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company?s procedures and systems for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal policiesúÿRecommend delegated authorities to specific individuals within the Company with clearly defined responsibilitiesÿ?ÿFinancial Leadership:úÿCreate and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and expense controls.úÿAnalyze financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.úÿOptimize pricing strategies and revenue streams.?ÿTeam Leadership and Development:úÿRecruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of real estate professionals.úÿFoster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages growth and innovation.úÿProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members.úÿFoster a high-performance corporate culture that promotes ethical practices encourages individual integrity/accountability and social responsibility.?ÿClient Relations and Business Development:úÿBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, partners, and industry stakeholders.úÿIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and strategic partnerships.úÿEnsure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.?ÿMarket Analysis and Trend Awareness:úÿStay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.úÿUtilize market insights to adapt business strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.?ÿLegal and Regulatory Compliance:úÿEnsure all real estate transactions and operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.úÿMitigate legal risks and liaise with legal counsel as needed.úÿBe responsible for the supervision and control over the Companys business, particularly with respect to ensuring compliance, risk control, independence of functions and segregation of duties.?ÿCommunication and Reporting:úÿEffectively communicate company objectives, updates, and strategies to the team.úÿPresent regular reports to senior management, detailing performance metrics and strategic initiatives.ÿ?ÿOperational Responsibilities:ÿúÿKeep the Board fully informed of all significant operational, financial and other matters relevant to the Company by establishing a tracking and reporting frameworkúÿProvide the Board, at Board and committee meetings, with exposure to the Company?s key managementúÿEnsure that the Board of Directors, Board Committees, and staff are fully informed of the Company?s conditions and of all-important factors influencing themúÿExecute all decisions of the Board of DirectorsúÿEstablish effective control and co-ordination mechanisms for all operations and activities including integrity of the internal control and risk management systemsúÿIdentify the principal risks of the Company?s business, review these risks with the Board regularly and implement appropriate systems to manage these risksúÿEnsure that all investments, funds, physical assets, and other properties of the Company are appropriately safeguarded and administeredúÿMaintain or cause to be maintained such regulators, bankers, governmental, public, auditors or other external relationships, as are deemed advisable and in the interests of the Company.úÿMaintain effective internal and external public relations and act, in conjunction with the Chairman of the Board, as the Company has authorized liaison officer with the media for press releases, etc.úÿEstablish a transparent and comprehensive management reporting mechanism to the Board of Directors on all activities and performance results of the CompanyúÿProvide any signatures required by law such as certification of financialsúÿEnter into financial and contractual arrangements, in the ordinary course of business, to pursue the approved strategies, business plans, and objectives of the Company, provided however, that major commitments, exposures, and risks shall be reported to the Board in a regular and timely mannerúÿAuthorize the commitment of funds to capital projects not included in a budget or otherwise approved by the Board to a maximum set in the Board approved Authority Matrix; such capital commitments shall be submitted to the Board for ratification at the next regularly scheduled Board meetingÿ
