MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certifications : Three (3) years related experience may besubstituted for three (3) years ofeducation, if degree is required.?Qualificationshave to meet the criteria as outlined in UFC 3-601-02. Recognized journeyman or craftsman-levelqualification, program for fire sprinkler systems. Examples include, but are not limited to,certification in Water based sprinkler (NICET level II) formalized labororganization-based journeyman training, or valid current sprinkler license fromany state, documented work experience with a fire sprinkler inspection andservicing company, or factory training. (FM Global)?Minimumtwo years documented experience as a Fire Suppression/Sprinkler SystemTechnician. Examples include: previous job descriptions, DD214 and Military/CivilianPerformance reports, job experience letter on company or corporate letterheadfrom previous employer(s).?Musthave education and knowledge of fire suppression/sprinkler systems, the abilityto perform hydraulic calculations, is preferred. .?Mustpossess a current stateside driver s license unless otherwise stipulated.Experience :Documentedtwo years experience in maintenance, repair, installation, and inspection andtesting of UL/FM listed fire suppressions/sprinkler systems and supportingcomponents.LanguageProficiency: Should have sufficient knowledge of English to understandinstructions and accomplish work documents and reports.Skills :Test & Inspections, Maintenance& Repairs, Installation of pipe and valves, Use of threading machine andhand tools. Knowledge of NFPA 13, 20,22 and 25. Able to read andinterpret blue prints.
