Job Description

Position OverviewThe DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie) at the Asian Kitchen Fine Dining is a key culinary position responsible for assisting in the smooth operation of the kitchen, specializing in Asian cuisine. The DCDP will work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to ensure high-quality food service and uphold the establishments reputation for excellence.Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily kitchen operations, focusing on Asian kitchen preparations.
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Support the head chef in menu planning, execution, and kitchen organization.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in accordance with health regulations.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control of kitchen supplies.
  • Assist in the development of new recipes and menus that reflect current trends in Asian cuisine.
  • Respond promptly to customer feedback and adjust menu items if necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance issues.
