Kuwait - Al Ahmadi, Camp ArifjanJob SummaryAECOM has an immediate opening for a COMSEC Inspector on our APS-5 contract in Kuwait.Performs schedules and unscheduled inspections of communications and electronic equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:?Performs initial inspections to determine the nature and extent of communications and electronic equipment repairs required.?Performs final inspections on communications and electronic equipment after the repairs have been completed.?Diagnoses and determines remedies for failures commonly encountered in the repairs of communications and electronic equipment using a variety of diagnostic techniques and TMDE.?Tests circuits, tubes and allied part; isolates defects, adjusts and adapts radios and other electronic equipment to meet specific needs for effective operation.?Prepares records of inspections/tests and makes them available to the QA/QC Department.?Ensures compliance with government and corporate regulations, company SOPs, directives, and technical manuals to establish and maintain a quality management program.?Maintains cross-talk with QA and COR representatives.?Coordinates with Shop Supervisor when technical problems arise and in-depth mechanical knowledge is required.?Cross trains when required to ensure maximum flexibility and possession of technical skills in the development and maintenance of quality programs.?Inspects work throughout the entire repair process.?Maintain proficiency on related training tasks.?Conducts surveillances and performs other administrative duties as required within the Quality Control Office.?Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsEducation:?High school diploma or equivalent required.?US Citizenship is required.?Secret Clearance is requiredExperience:?2 or more years of quality control/inspection experience required.?3 years experience in the Electronic Maintenance Field required.?3 years experience with Night Vision/Thermal devices, Blue Force Tracker and vehicle communication Installations preferred.Specialized Knowledge and Skills:?Requires considerable knowledge of integrated circuits; electronic principles and theory including solid state components as applied to control, function, and logic circuit; digital and analog circuits; functional use of complex electronic test equipment; electronic power, data processing and communications equipment; principles and methods of electronics systems maintenance and repair; and safety procedures.?Must have knowledge of diagnostic tools and forms used at the unit and DS/GS level.?Must be able to read and understand communications and electronic equipment schematics.?Must have thorough knowledge of military technical publications.?Must have a collaborative work style that fosters cooperation and team work.?Excellent organizational skills?Must be customer service focused.Certification & License: N/AWork Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively?Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.?Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.?Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.Preferred QualificationsN/AWhat We OfferWhen you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
