Job Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (KSA)Years of experience: 8+Job description:Design, implementation, and optimization of high-performance Linuxbased infrastructure.System administration for multiple physical and cloud-based critical LinuxenvironmentsProvide level 2 and 3 support, incident handling, troubleshooting, andreporting root cause analysis for critical events on the infrastructureSecurity upgrade on infrastructure devices, including network hardware,servers, and workstationsProvide recommendations to improve security, availability, and scalabilityof the infrastructurePrepare the infrastructure for product releases, upgrades, and automationrequirementsWork with the development team to implement and support new featuresFollow security practices and recommendations for the infrastructureAutomate infrastructure deployments, patching, and security complianceImplementing security controls, network segmentation, and day to dayoperationsProvide good quality reports related to infrastructure and implementationEnhance and optimize the Linux environment and web applications byusing content delivery, caching, load balancing, reverse proxy content andother platformsMonitoring server KPIs such as storage, CPU, and Memory and maintainingthe agreed level of operation healthData resiliency and backup for cloud and self-hosted servers andapplicationsQualifications and RequirementsStrong understanding of TCP/IP, network configuration, services, andprotocolStrong background in Linux administrationExperience in infrastructure design and architectureExpertise in leading infrastructure deploymentsStrong script skills (Bash, Python)Expertise in configuration management and orchestration tools (Ansible,Puppet, Terraform, etc.) in large infrastructuresKnowledge in infrastructure as a code (Iac)Systematic thinking and experience in debugging complex technicalproblems related to different protocols, SSH, SMTP, DNS, HTTP/S, SyslogetcExpertise in open source solutions like RabbitMQ, Kafka, ELK, Zabbix,Prometheus, Grafana etcStrong understanding of Networking, Firewall, VPN, and host securityExperience in deploying and managing containerized technology andorchestration such as Docker and KubernetesKnowledge in planning backup and disaster recovery, SAN/NAS, and objectstorageExpertise on the Windows platform is a plusRedhat and Kubernetes certification is preferred
