Senior Accountant

Job Description

Lead the financial management of the company and build a professional monitoring system, manage cash flows, improve collections, and monitor costs while supporting executive management with accurate financial information for decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesFirst: Financial ManagementPrepare monthly financial statements.Prepare executive reports for management.Prepare and analyze cash flows.Prepare budget estimates.Monitor profitability for each project.Analyze financial variances.Second: Liquidity ManagementMonitor daily collections.Prepare cash flow plans for 90 days.Prioritize payments.Manage working capital.Monitor daily liquidity.Third: Project ManagementMonitor project costs.Compare budget to actual costs.Track disbursements.Analyze profitability of each project.Issue weekly reports.Fourth: Financial ControlReview all expenditures.Approve purchase orders.Monitor contracts and funds.Reconcile bank accounts.Track receivables and payables.Fifth: ReportingPrepare the following reports:Daily CEO DashboardWeekly Executive ReportMonthly Financial ReportCash Flow ReportProject Profitability ReportKPI DashboardSkillsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience of at least 5 years.Experience in contracting companies is preferred.Good knowledge of disbursements and contracts.Experience in VAT and Zakat.Advanced Excel proficiency.Experience in ERP is preferred.SkillsFinancial analysis.Cash flow management.Cost Control.Budgeting.Financial Planning.Business Analysis.Power BI (additional advantage).Analytical thinking.Strong communication skills.Performance Indicators (KPIs)The candidate will be evaluated based on:Accuracy of reports.Speed of report issuance.Accuracy of cash flow forecasts.Improvement in collection rates.Reduction in collection duration.Adherence to monthly account closures.Improvement in working capital.Quality of information provided to management.
