The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical hardware expertise, physical network setup skills, and effective communication abilities. This role requires strong analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, and a positive, results-oriented mindset. As a mentor to fellow Service technicians, this individual will contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and play a pivotal role in driving initiatives to completion.Your responsibilities will include:Proficiently handle hardware troubleshooting, physical network configuration, and effective communication.Conduct hardware failure analysis and root cause investigations, leveraging controlled experiments and collaboration with engineering teams and customers.Support global field deployments through equipment maintenance, new product training, and real-time issue resolution.Maintain server fleet health, monitor trends, and validate customer SLAs.Perform Layer-1, Layer-2, and Layer-3 network troubleshooting, cable management, and switch setup.Lead pre-work meetings, provide daily status updates, and ensure clear communication among stakeholders.Develop SOPs, knowledge articles, guides, and conduct training sessions.Collaborate with engineering teams to provide accurate feedback on failures, serviceability, and integration.Manage project pre and post-work activities with diligence and attention to detail.Ideal CandidateQualifications:2-4+ years of relevant experience as a data center technician.High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to lift items up to 50lbs independently or heavier items in partnership.Proficiency in autonomous and collaborative work within local or dispersed teams.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience in the field.CCNA certification.MCP/MSCE certification.Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.In this role, youll be a critical part of our team, contributing your technical skills, communication prowess, and problem-solving abilities to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our data center operations.Ref: YJR6NQUNFZ Company Profile Snaphunt is a specialist recruiting platform that takes the pain out of hiring and job searching.
