Senior Legal Advisor

Job Description

To protect the company interests on matters related to laws and regulations and ensure that the organization is fully protected against any legal consequences or implications.

• Manage day to day activities within the legal department.
• Create & develop legal policies & Procedures, then to supervise its implementation to ensure that all procedural requirements are fulfilled.ÿ
• Review and follow-up on all law suits with the related law firms to ensure all legal cases are handled and closed in a timely and proficient manner.
• Review and document all legal standings of the company and related cases and proceedings (where applicable) to ensure it is fully protected and well presented in front of all government authorities.
• Coordinate with concerned departments to effectively respond to law firms, courts and external parties? requests in order to ensure smooth processing of all legal proceedings.
• Preparing / reviewing all the companys contracts to ensure legal compliance with the countrys laws and regulations in line with the companys interest with the minimum risks.
• Attend meetings related to legal department and provide legal advice to the Company and its subsidiaries.ÿ
• Preparing the minutes of regular/extraordinary meetings.
• Review all claim requests before submitting to court.
• Ensure all documents related to legal affairs department are maintained and controlled in an appropriate manner.
• Represent the company in front of expert committees.
• Risk assessment and providing recommendations and legal advice to Top management and various departments in accordance with the law and protecting the interests of the company.
• Following up on the legal status of companies, establishing companies and amending their legal entities.
• Updating the Top Management and the various departments and subsidiaries of any amendment / change to the laws.
• Follow up the compliance of the various departments with the laws.
• Providing periodical reports to the Top Management.
• Any other tasks as assigned by direct manager.
