?- Oversee receiving, locating, sales order processing, picking and dispatch operations.- Ensure receiving, picking and dispatch are done according to Operational Guidelines.- Check that dispatch is prioritized appropriately.- Conduct walkthroughs with concerned customers where there are delays.- Follow internal control procedures when working with Customs.- Ensure shipping timetables and schedules are met.- Monitor the shipping of all materials and equipment.- Review shipping paperwork to ensure its accuracy prior to shipment to avoid Customs delays.- Monitor Freight Forwarder/ Agency.- Ensure shipments are compliant with all safety and environmental rules and regulations.- Review Freight Forwarder?s packing specifications to ensure all materials are being properly protected for shipment.- Coordinate the shipping of all materials and equipment.- Coordinate transfer of materials and equipment from the Vendor to the Freight Forwarder.- Review/audit invoices to ensure accuracy of charges.- Participate in the annual contract renewal for Freight Forwarding and Shipping services.- Review logistics networks to improve service to internal customers and reduce logistics costs.- Ensure all logistics functions are performed in accordance with company policies.- Prioritize, communicate, and provide administrative support to ensure orders meet commitments.- Establish reports based on logistics movement.- File and archive documents.- Perform any other related duties as assigned.- Ensure the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of new initiatives and procedures related to logistics.- Design, implement and manage contracts in forwarding, transport and warehousing, where necessary.- Ensure timely transmission of logistics monitoring information, stock levels and distribution status to the logistics focal point at the national level.?
