Job Description

The Deputy Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment within the organization. This position requires a proactive individual who can assist the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing maintenance activities, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid technical background, enabling them to address maintenance challenges effectively.Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in planning and executing maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
  2. Supervise maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all maintenance operations.
  6. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
  7. Provide training and support to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  8. Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
  9. Assist in budget preparation and cost control for maintenance operations.
  10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes.
