Key Responsibilities: ? Thoroughly understand all product capabilities, features and benefits as well as Summit?s market conditions, product warranties and services. ? Assist customers over the phone or via internet with orders, quotations and product questions. ? Negotiate profitable pricing with both customers and suppliers. ? Proactively follow up on customer orders, challenges and needs. ? Resolve customer concerns and issues as efficiently and effectively as possible. ? Assist other associates as needed. ? Assist Account Managers with customer joint calls and participate in product and application presentations. Essential Qualifications and Experience: ? Experience in an electrical distributor or manufacturer or with products sold by an electrical distributor. Experience can include working for a manufacturer of equipment sold by an electrical distributor or with a company installing this equipment. ? Ability to focus on customers and deliver superior services and solutions ? Strong sense of urgency and follow-up ? Skilled at prioritizing long-term and short-terms tasks ? Mission-critical thinking and execution of RFQ?s, project bids and proposals ? Excellent attention to detail ? Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills ? Must be a mature professional with superior business etiquette ? Time management ? ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. ? Flexibility ? ability to effectively adapt to change. ? Ability to think strategically and determine how to position Summit solutions against competitive solutions. Beneficial Skills and Experience ? Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision. ? Technical background. ? Previous export experience. ? Written and oral fluency in multiple languages. ? 4 years of college or equivalent experience. ? Working knowledge of SAP ? Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) Reports to: CSR Supervisor, Operations Manager or Service Center Leader. Customers served External -- Customers, vendors, manufacturers? representatives and other suppliers. Internal ?Work closely with other Summit associates in areas such as Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Delivery and Accounting. Work Location: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai
