Roles & ResponsibilitiesAccountant ? Construction CompanyEmaara Building Contracting L.L.C. is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Ajman, UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily accounting and bookkeeping records.Manage supplier and subcontractor accounts and reconciliations.Handle accounts payable, receivable, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.Record and monitor project-wise construction costs.Verify invoices, LPOs, delivery notes, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.Assist with payroll, VAT, Corporate Tax documentation, and monthly closing.Prepare financial, outstanding payment, aging, and project cost reports.Maintain accurate physical and digital financial records.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.Minimum 2 years of accounting experience preferred.Construction or contracting company experience is an advantage.Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills.High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and organization.Location: Ajman, UAEEmployment: Full-TimeDesired Candidate ProfileCandidates with experience in construction accounting, supplier/subcontractor reconciliation, and project costing will be preferred.
