Your operational support and leadership as Learning & Development Manager will ensure continued learning, guest satisfaction and Colleague engagement throughout your hotel.Responsabilities:Reporting to the Director of Talent & Culture responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceFacilitate all Company training programs and ensure standards are followedProvide on-going coaching and guidance for departmental Trainers or department Leaders to ensure consistency of quality trainingEnsure all training material is up to dateCoordinate all training seminarsAct as an internal performance consultant, involved in facilitating departmental meetings, focus groups and team-building activities as requiredPartner with external organizations who provide support for the hotels learning strategyEnsure all team member training, documentation and testing is completed in the required time frameCreate and develop training materials and programs to meet the needs of the hotelBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsTo administer and maintain documentation and records for all training related activities.To participate & lead in the employee committee.Analyze the hotel manpower and make recommendations on selection and development activities to meet manpower needDevelops and implements recruiting and screening systems and procedures to attract qualified candidates for vacanciesAssists Leaders in recruiting activitiesTogether with Leaders identify employees for development, makes recommendations and monitors progressTo comply with Hotel and Departmental policies and procedures at all times.Follow all safety policiesTo carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel.CompetenciesPrevious leadership experience in a related field requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline preferredPrevious Hotel experience preferredExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and and courteous at all timesAbout Fairmont Hotels & Resorts :At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts we offer our guests the finest hospitality experience in each of our destinations.
