The role of Senior Logistics will include, but not limited to the following:
ACID Requirements
Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management Supervise Custom release operation with the Broker.
Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
Monitor product import processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet requirements.
Train shipping department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, or customer issues.
Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
Negotiate transportation rates or services.
Supervise the work of logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain or a similar field is preferable.
Must only come from FMCG background
Should have extensive experience in Import documentation requirements and Process.
2-5 years of experience as a Logistic specialist or in a similar role.
