Senior HSE EngineerJob Location : Abu Dhabi, UAEKey Responsibilities:•Lead Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities for offshore oil and gas projects ensuring compliance with local national and international safety standards.•Conduct hazard and risk assessments particularly focusing on offshore-specific risks.•Design and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize risks to personnel the environment and assets.•Oversee safety audits inspections and investigations to ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety standards.•Support the development of safety management systems and procedures for offshore operations.•Provide guidance on technical safety issues ensuring all safety systems are designed to meet the highest standards.•Liaise with project teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of safety-related issues.•Contribute to emergency response planning and safety training programs for offshore personnel.Qualifications & Experience:•15+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector with a strong focus on offshore operations.•Extensive experience in technical safety risk management and loss prevention in the offshore context.•In-depth understanding of offshore safety regulations and industry best practices.•Proven track record of leading and managing HSE activities for large-scale offshore projects.•Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.•Relevant certifications e.g NEBOSH IOSH or equivalent.
