Senior BuyerJob Location : UAEEducation and Experience?At least 10 years of previous experience in purchasing with EPC Contractors in Oil & Gas.?Master Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering);Core Work Activities :?Purchasing of Package materials;?Placing related Purchase Orders within budget and schedule;?Preparing bidders lists, shortlist bidders, negotiate commercial process and conditions, placing purchase orders within budget and schedule and managing change orders during execution phase;?Preparing the commercial/economic bid tabulation to compare different proposals and suggest actions to be taken in order to improve bid result and/or select the vendor;?Supporting the vendors during the preparation of the technical/commercial proposals with obligation of confidentiality about the related bid info;?Checking and commenting the technical documentation received with the Purchase Requisition and Technical Evaluation;?Being the primary interface for Suppliers;?Dealing with Engineering department and Project team to ensure the most effective purchasing process and identify cost saving opportunities;?Suppliers? interface during qualification process;?Preparing and negotiate in autonomy Contracts/Frame Agreements with suppliers;?Performing Economical Bid Evaluation and proposing awarding;?Securing compliance with internal procedures and protocols.
