Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities Manage workshop and yard operations, ensuring equipment readiness, reliability, and timely mobilisation for projects. Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and turnaround maintenance activities for specialised industrial equipment. Maintain equipment records, certifications, spare parts, and maintenance schedules through effective asset management systems. Lead workshop teams, including technicians and supervisors, ensuring competency development and performance. Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements, client standards, and safe work practices. Coordinate equipment preparation, repairs, loadouts, and project mobilisation activities. Monitor maintenance costs, inventory, vendor performance, and operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement through reliability initiatives, root cause analysis, and process optimisation. Report workshop performance, equipment availability, and key operational KPIs to management.Desired Candidate Profile Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline. 8?12+ years of experience in workshop management, equipment maintenance, or asset reliability within oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power, or heavy industrial environments. Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role leading maintenance teams. Strong knowledge of specialised industrial equipment maintenance, including hydro-jetting, chemical cleaning, heat exchanger services, catalyst handling, and mechanical systems. Proven experience in preventive maintenance, CMMS, asset management, reliability improvement, and maintenance planning. Strong HSEQ leadership experience with knowledge of LOTO, lifting operations, pressure testing, and safe systems of work. Experience working with UAE industrial standards and client requirements (ADNOC experience is an advantage). Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively under shutdown/turnaround pressure while maintaining safety and operational excellence. Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
