Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:? Plans and Co-ordinates all Wireline activities in the field.? Supervises service companies carrying out wireline operations on all type of wells ensuring that such operations are implemented efficiently, safely with cost effective in line with ADNOC offshore technical and service standards.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :-Job Specific AccountabilitiesSupervises all Wireline operations as follow:? Carry out assigned Operational work safely to assigned standards in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP?s).? Changing and maintaining sub-surface safety valve? Running bottom hole recorders.? Supervise activities like Running spinners flow-meters, fishing etc. Carried out by service companies in all type of wells.? Provide services to drilling rigs requirement and liaise with senior drilling supervisor or senior well engineer to insure provision of wireline service when completion/work over stage commence.? Respond to request for trouble shooting problems such as fishing job, tubing perforation, bottom hole samples etc. from ADNOC offshore.? Analyses the cause of the problems and recommend appropriate remedial wireline action. Participate personally for resolving such problems.? Arrange for travel/transfer of service company personnel, wireline tools and equipment such as-? Safety ball valves, safety plugs, wireline spools, wireline unit, drums, power back engines etc. between Abu Dhabi- Mussaffah and offshore locations. Liaises with material supervisor (field) and provides service companies with wireline tools updates stock holding accordingly recommends to the supervisors for the supply of special tools and equipment.? Liaises with Wireline Engineer onshore for the maintenance, repair, service and modification operation of wireline tools and equipment at contractor?s workshop.? Maintains and updates a variety of records such as wells records and wireline equipment and tools on due dates including daily service tickets and performance of wireline contractors.? Perform other related duties such as preparing monthly statistical analysis of wireline operations, checking contactor?s invoices and allocations.? Conducting induction, familiarization and arrange training courses for new recruits, visitors etc.? Implements and reviews DHSV test and change out program and ensure adequate valves / spares are stocked.? Follow the wireline riser location and arrange for servicing and pressure test at due date as per equipment integrity.? Prepare and issue monthly achievement reports.? Ensure all wireline activities are carried out as per HSE and ISO-14001? Promote company HSE and ISO-14001 to service company personal.? Ensure every task is carried out as per written procedure. Conduct risk assessment on any job with is having potential of risk.? Ensure that wireline and logging contractors are full aware of HSENS rules and regulations and reinforce on them.? Conduct PTW audits, tool box meeting on daily basis. Discuss activities and Problems with all working team.Generic AccountabilitiesPolicies, Systems, Processes & Procedures? Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.Innovation and Continuous Improvement? Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures and functional processes.Health, Safety , Environment (HSE) and Sustainability ? Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.? Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.Housekeeping? Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.Reports? Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.? Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Internal? Plan daily program in co-ordination with Production Team (UL), Central Control Room, Supervisor Production ( Well) and Test Vessel. Ensure daily activities are carried out safely.? Liaise with Wireline Engineer (UL) onshore for supply of down hole Gauges, down hole Valves and wire line equipment from the contractor base.? Liaise with Drilling rigs on daily basis for drilling rig wireline activities and requirement.? Daily contact with Production-TL offshore for co-ordination of work requirement.? Daily contacts with Supervisor Prodction (CCR) for activity scheduling.? Daily contact with Supervisor Production ( Well).ExternalQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification? Secondary/College certificate followed by 3 years full-time training leading to a technical diploma.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills? 5 years? experience in wireline or rig less operation involving maintenance/repair of tools/equipment of which 2 years should have been in supervisory role / capacity.? Good knowledge of English language. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: ? All Wire line operations? Well integrity management / Standard? Well head component testing and servicing?
