Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe Welding QC Inspector is responsible for performing welding inspection and quality control activities for oil and gas projects, including offshore projects, fabrication, assembly, welding of topsides, jackets, piping, and pipeline welding. The role ensures that welding and NDT activities comply with applicable project requirements, international codes and standards, ADNOC requirements, and Company Technical Standards. The position is also responsible for inspection documentation, radiograph and NDT report review, PWHT activities, dimensional control, hydro-testing packages, and punch-list activities.Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor?s degree in Engineering or an approved equivalent/Diploma degree in Engineering.At least 10 years of experience in Welding Inspection and Quality Control in oil and gas projects.At least 5 years of experience in handling oil and gas offshore projects.Qualified in accordance with TWI (CSWIP) or AWS (CWI) for welding inspection.Qualified in accordance with PCN and/or ASNT certification requirements for NDT inspection.PCN Qualification is preferable for RT and UT inspection.Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and welding of top sides, jackets, and piping.Experience in inspection of exotic piping materials, including Inconel, SDSS, and cladding, is required.Pipeline welding inspection experience is required for pipeline welding inspectors.Fully conversant with international codes and standards, including ASME, ANSI, AWS, API, DNV, BS, and ISO.Familiarity with ADNOC and Company Technical Standards.Computer literate with very good knowledge of spoken and written English, including the preparation of technical reports, procedures, and QA/QC documentation.
