Key Responsibilities1. Logistics & Material Movementú Transport Planning: Coordinate containerized and bulk cargo movement from ports (e.g., Khalifa Port) to warehouses or project sites, planning optimal logistics routesú Multi-node Coordination: Manage inventory transfers between multiple warehouses to ensure timely Customer PO deliveryú Backload Management: Execute equipment and material backload and reuse according to project requirementsú Field Execution: Conduct daily on-site inspections at transport nodes, supervising loading/unloading, handovers, and exception handlingú Exception Handling: Lead OS&D (Over, Short & Damaged) investigations and ensure closed-loop resolution2. Customs Compliance & Documentationú Customs Clearance: Liaise with customs brokers and shipping lines to ensure import/export processes comply with UAE Customs regulationsú Documentation Management: Independently prepare and review the following:Manifest?Delivery Note?Packing Listú Compliance Control: Ensure all logistics activities comply with local regulations and internal company requirementsú Cross-border Logistics: Support transport coordination between UAE and GCC countries3. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Controlú Warehouse Operations: Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, and dispatchú Inventory Accuracy: Organize monthly Cycle Counts and annual stocktakes, ensuring inventory accuracy rate ò98%ú Warehouse Optimization: Continuously optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to improve space utilization and operational efficiencyú System Management: Achieve real-time inventory and logistics data visibility through SAP (MM/PM) and other systems4. Material Integrity & Certificationú Asset Data Management: Maintain technical specifications and lifecycle data for lifting equipment, machinery, and electrical materialsú Third-Party Certification: Coordinate inspection bodies for equipment calibration, testing, and certificate renewal (Color Code management)ú Technical Documentation System: Establish complete records including technical specifications, calculations, purchase requisitions, and delivery dossiers5. Vendor & Stakeholder Managementú Vendor Development: Build and maintain a local resource pool of transporters, warehouse service providers, and equipment service providersú Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and terms for transport, equipment refurbishment, and warehousing servicesú Performance Evaluation: Assess vendors based on KPIs (timeliness, cost, service quality)ú Cross-functional Collaboration: Maintain efficient communication with Sales, Project, Admin, and third-party teams6. Operational Excellence & HSEú On-site Supervision: Ensure warehouse and transport operations meet operational standards through daily field inspectionsú PTW Management (Permit to Work): Responsible for contractor work permit approval and supervisionú Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with HSE standardsú Rapid Response: Provide immediate on-site presence and resolution when abnormalities occur in transport or warehousingSkillsMandatory Requirementsú Driving: Valid UAE driving license (manual/automatic) with ò2 years of actual local driving experienceú Industry Experience: 5?8 years of GCC (UAE preferred) logistics/warehousing experienceú System Proficiency: Skilled in SAP (MM/PM), Kofax, and Microsoft Officeú Field Capability: Willingness to undertake high-frequency field travel and cross-regional drivingProfessional SkillsEducation?Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Logistics Management, Business Management, or related fields.Language: Fluent in English (working language); ability to communicate in a multi-accent environment?Knowledge of Arabic preferredú Logistics Knowledge: Familiar with container and bulk cargo transport processes and customs clearance operationsú Geographical Familiarity: Well-versed in UAE's major ports, industrial zones, and line-haul transport routesú Resource Network: Existing local logistics service provider network is preferredSoft Skillsú High Self-drive & Execution: Ability to independently plan routes and drive work forwardú Stress Resilience: Ability to adapt to high-temperature environments and urgent task handlingú Problem-solving: On-site rapid judgment and decision-making capabilityú Organizational Coordination: Strong multi-party communication and resource integration skills.
