Job Description

Transportation & Traffic Management DirectorAbu Dhabi, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Transportation & Traffic Management Director to join our team!What Youll Be Doing:

  • Manage and direct transportation studies for road infrastructure improvement projects such corridor improvement projects.
  • Develop traffic diversions for complex road infrastructure projects during design and construction stages,
  • Prepare transportation master plans/traffic impact studies for new developments including data collection and analysis
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
  • BS in civil engineering or related discipline MS in transportation planningtraffic engineering or related discipline highly desirable
  • Minimum 20 years experience in the conduct of transportation studies, transportation master plans, and traffic impact studies
  • Expert-level knowledge in the use of travel demand modeling and operational traffic engineering analysis using standard packages (e.g. VISUM, CUBE SYNCHRO, HCS, VISSIM)
  • Demonstrable experience in the development/analysis of traffic diversion/ temporary traffic management plans for complex road improvement projects
  • Experience in evaluation of improvement projects using economic /benefit- cost analysis desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience including managing multidisciplinary teams
