JOB DESCRIPTIONTo safely operate Over drive system and casing/tubing tongs, power units, tubular handling and cleaning equipment, JAM services and equipment, bottom hole assembly make-up; select a torque and other specialized oilfield equipment used in tubular make-up and testing services. Work is performed in an onshore or offshore environmentQUALIFICATIONSRequired EducationAll persons to have a diploma or degree in a technical line, or past experience in a similar operationPOSITION SPECIFIC DETAILSRequired Skills:?Applicant should be sound mentally and physically. The applicant should be able to perform his/her duties in a variety of irregular working hours. A physical examination prior to employment is required to verify fitness.?All persons must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to be able to read instructions and fill out job related paperwork and write reports. To be proven through a small test with reports, delivery tickets and a short, hand written report.?Satisfactory performance on equipment tests. Fully conversant with all Weatherford equipment, including: where applicable: Over drive, Mechanized Tongs, PLC s, Power master, JAM, Push masters, Power scopes, etc. and large diameter handling tools, e.g. Varco 1000 Ton and internal ElevatorsShould have knowledge on Safety
