Assist the Workshops Manager to accomplish, intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs of all assigned aircraft turbine engines and components.Will also be responsible to:1. Supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate personnel performing aircraft power plant maintenance.2. Evaluates maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures and operational policies.3. Ensures subordinates manage all forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751 and related publications.4. Performs maintenance trend analysis and applies production control, quality control and other maintenance management principles and procedures to aircraft engine maintenance and shop operations.5. Instructs and conducts technical training in aircraft engine system maintenance, supply and safety techniques.6. Evaluates the technical training program on host national personnel.7. Serves as the focal point for all parts, tools, shop stock and supply requisitions.8. Maintains accountability for all tools and equipment assigned to the shop.9. Keeps a current technical library in accordance with shop mission and equipment.10. Must be able to troubleshoot engine malfunctions and interpret applicable technical data.11. Responsible for oversight, guidance and counseling of all personnel assigned to them.
