Roles & Responsibilities Support engineering activities related to SCMS, IPCS, and ECMS systems for substations. Support configuration and troubleshooting of RTUs, controllers, gateways, and HMI systems. Assist in IED integration and implementation of communication protocols. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation in accordance with project requirements and standards. Coordinate with project teams and provide technical support during project execution. Perform system integration and testing of automation solutions, verifying functionality and adherence to specifications.Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in substation automation engineering (SCADA/SCMS). Proven experience with SCADA systems, RTUs, and communication protocols like DNP3 and IEC Basic knowledge of substation automation and power systems. Exposure to SCADA/Control Systems (ABB 800xA experience is an advantage). Familiarity with communication protocols such as IEC 61850, IEC 104, DNP3, and Modbus. Basic understanding of PLC programming (IEC 61131-3). Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP and industrial switches. Willingness to travel for site activities and commissioning support. Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
