Employment: Full Time Our client is seeking a Strategy & Performance Director to oversee and lead the development of the clients strategic plans, review feasibility studies and ensure financial planning models are being employed to perform business analysis in order to determine the clients short and long-term plans in line with the strategic direction and objectives that it aspires to achieve, by taking into account market trends and practices and emerging challenges and opportunities.Accountability Areas:- Participate in the strategy formulation workshops alongside Executive management by providing pertinent insights and inputs, in line with business needs, requirements and organizational direction- Establish the Departments strategy and ensure implementation and effective delivery of strategic objectives in line with the Business Units strategy and direction- Develop the Departments budget and ensure continuous monitoring of expenditure and timely reporting to Business Unit Heads on operational costs and savings- Translate the Division/Business Units strategy into annual and three year business plans; continuously monitor implementation to ensure achievement of business strategy and corporate performance indicators- Identify operational issues, conduct business impact analysis and escalate risks to Executive management in order to address unresolved matters- Contribute to the development of new products, provision of new services and the refinement of existing policies and processes and standards based on the organizations strategic direction and in line with external market practices REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory: Bachelors degree in relevant fieldPreferable: Post graduate degree or CFA is preferredMandatory: Business analysis certifications are desired (CBAP)Preferable:- Project management certification is preferred- Rail management certification is preferred- Finance and statistics certification is preferred- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
