Job Purpose:We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Strategic Buyer to help us in sourcing our client?s requirements, running and managing the sourcing process and deliver the best in class souring solutions in compliance with the sourcing best practice and local laws. Responsibilities?Support in managing the pre-qualification of suppliers for bidders? lists (due diligence). ?Manage and ensure tactical sourcing purchases via quotation. ?Manage end-to-end procurement activities (RFI, RFQ, RFP) in conjunction with the client.?Develop market-specific expertise by continuous research and enhance over all experience in regard to procurement process for the end user.?Evaluate supplier performance through developing reports and collating client feedback to determine need for changes and to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.?Manage and ensure performance evaluation of suppliers in a Commercial Directory is registered and recorded.?Develop quality performance guidelines and corrective actions for supplier performance improvement. ?Manage end-to-end procurement process for designated categories.?Liaise and negotiate with third party suppliers to ensure proper negotiations take place with various suppliers and purchasing decision are critically made to obtain maximum discount without compromising the quality.?Manage Contract Novation activities as required by the client?Follow all relevant policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.?Follow the day-to-day operations set by the Line Manager to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high-quality outputs.?Report on a regular basis to section head on operational activities, challenges, hurdles and methods of resolution or mitigation etc. as required to keep the Line Manager informed and updated about the unit?s activities.?Management of data collected through client interactions, market research and sourcing activities.
