Sr Business Analyst-IBOR Transition - Enterprise Risk Management

Job Description

The Business Analyst will be required to write and develop requirements, conduct business analysis as well as assist in testing, data migration, technical and functional design through to the final solution. This resource must be able to assist and play leading roles in the moving to production, handover to support and close out phases of the project. The candidate would be supporting on IBOR transition and would have proven experience of delivering risk, treasury and global markets solutions for Tier 1 and 2 banks. Exposure to IBOR transition programs and Murex systems would be a strong plus. This is a hands-on role and the successful candidate would be expected to assist the project management team in delivery and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholder at the Bank. TASKSFunctional? Perform business analysis, enhancements and changes to the systems that are exposed to the IBOR indices. Systems include transactional systems which host underlying transactions linked to IBOR indices and surrounding risk and finance systems (liquidity, ECL, FTP, etc ?). This includes implementation in HO and international branches/entities of the bank. ? Contribute functional expertise across valuation methodology, benchmarks and risk limits in regard to IBOR transition? Defining the systems and data requirements and validating the systems design from the functional as well as technical aspects.? Provide review of vendor solutions and enhancement proposed, assessing fit for purpose for the bank.? Develop and refine the various business/functional/testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved, working alongside the vendor if needed.? Assist in ensuring high level of data consistency and data validation.Project Management Support? Ensure that stakeholders including project sponsors are kept informed on progress? Collaborate with onshore and offshore resources to ensure successful delivery of projects. ? To actively participate and expedite the SDLC across design, build, testing and Go Live in coordination with relevant teams ? To play an active role in the preparation of the environments needed for the system.? Playing roles in the technical and functional handing over of the project to the assigned support team(s).? To assist in developing business and operational processes and to participate in developing system training artifacts.? Facilitate the handover of project to Support Team(s).? Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst working in a treasury and risk management environment for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Banks with international presence. ? Experience with IBOR transition and Murex will be a strong plus? Excellent understanding of Treasury products including complex derivatives, valuations (FO/MO), market risk management with a desire to implement new solutions for the bank. ? SME in the treasury solutions landscape, capable of identifying change and coordinating those changes through mobilizing a project team. ? Previous experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders with strong communication skills, providing updates and strong documentation skills.? Proven ability in leading the design, build and operation of complex treasury solutions and projects ? Ability and charisma to lead and deliver ? The candidate should possess either a postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Business Administration.? The candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience in Bank/Consulting or I.T. Company for a minimum of 8 years.? International risk certifications (FRM, PRM) will be a plus? Strong proven track record of liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, testing processes and other relevant information.? Should have handled support role(s) and possess numerical skills, coupled with the ability to work independently and within a team, managing timelines well.? Candidate must display strong verbal and written communication skills.
