Job Summary:? Ensures proper and efficient provision of a wide variety of voice & data services to various users offshore. Supervises and carries out all installation, maintenance, repair, commissioning and operational activities of all related voice & data services systems and equipment offshore.Duties:? Supervises and carries out all installation, maintenance, commissioning and operational activities of the telephone & data networks & facilities serving various users offshore including internet services, telephone exchanges, modems, switches, hubs, routers, facsimile machines, emergency telephones, emergency monitoring & recording equipment, fiber optic cables & optical equipment, external line plant network, MPLS backbone link to WTC-HQ and PCM transmission links to offshore complexes.? The systems includes NEC digital/analog telephone exchange ?PABX? IP telephony enabled, digital trunk lines to WTC- HQ and offshore complexes, local area network serving over PC?s and line printers, Outside Plant Works & Underground cable distribution network, fire alarm & siren, and telephone cable network.
