Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to lead a talented construction supervision consultancy team performing key services for a high profile master developer in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, UAE.What Youll Be Doing:

  • Manages a team of up to 20+ staff.
  • Administrates multiple contracts on behalf of the Client.
  • Act as Engineers Representative.
  • Coordinate with Client, Consultants, Contractors, Vendors, Suppliers and Authorities (as required).
  • Advise on contractual and construction matters.
  • Liaise with Department and approve Contractors submissions.
  • Coordinate forward planning.
  • Be fully conversant with the Contract Terms and Conditions.
  • Implement the terms and conditions of Contract.
  • Generally supervise, review, monitor and report on progress.
  • Liaise with all parties for site safety.
  • Convene and chair regular site meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership to the team
  • Coordinate and monitor activities of staff
  • Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals within Aconex.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of records according to ISO 9001.
  • Maintain awareness of contracts financial status.
  • Coordinate project status with Program Manager and highlight all challenges, issues, and mitigations prior to informing the client
  • Promote Parsons Safety Culture in all that we do
  • Promote Parsons Quality Culture in all that we do
  • Give final approval to Works and arrange Handover
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering with more than 18 years of experience.
  • Specific Project Management Consultancy / Construction Supervision Consultancy Experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of MENA Experience (Preferably UAE).
  • Prior Experience Managing a staff of over 15+ Staff.
  • Infrastructure Experience.
  • English Language expert proficiency.
What Desired Skills Youll Bring:
  • MS Degree in Construction Management or Equivalent (PMP etc.)
  • Marine Construction Experience
  • MS Office 365 Advanced Skills
  • Aconex Beginner Skills
  • Vertical and Horizontal construction experience a plus
