Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team!What Youll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for day to day management and oversight of the project on behalf of the Client.
  • Responsible for projectmanagement activities including but not limited to, planning and scheduling, and monitoring, progress measurement,risk management and reporting. Manages project controls personnel.
  • Responsible for establishing operating policiesto mitigate risk.
  • Provides guidance and consultation for Clients management. Experienced with a variety of the fields
  • Guide and direct resolution of project difficulties and complex project issues.
  • Gather information and prepare reports and presentations of information as needed on theproject
  • Coordinate with cross functional team in project setting, ensure project controls team members areinterfacing with engineering, procurement, contracts and construction on concepts and relationships to thescope of work and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Perform othe responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
  • Strong analytical skills required to review all project controls information and ensure accuracy as well asidentify issues, concerns and potential mitigations
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related fields and fifteen (15) yearsexperience in Construction Management. Experience working for a Contractor
  • Experience in large rail projects
  • Leadership ability and strong management skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced project environment
What Desired Skills Youll Bring:
  • Establish and manage project schedule development, review and update processes and to ensure accuracyand alignment with the overall master schedule. Manage and ensure all project required reporting is paredand submitted as per approved
