Job Summary:? Monitor and control oil production and water injection facilities in offshore, taking actions within standing instructions to ensure the safe operation of the field and Water Injection plant to specified production levels.Duties:? Monitors and controls operational performance of Well Head platforms (WHP), Production Manifold Platform (PMP), and Water Injection Plant (WIP).? Checks the operation of the wellhead platforms and the flowing / injection status frequently. If a string has ceased to flow due to any other reason, informs Field team to initiate action to revive.? Constantly monitors site field (WHP?s / PMP) and water injection plant parameters and adjust accordingly. Advise Field & WI teams to initiate necessary actions as required to ensure operational objectives are achieved.? Constantly monitors the new DCS, ESD, PLC & Fire/Gas System and takes corrective actions as required.? Coordinates with Plant Operators during plant shutdown / start up, process upsets, permutation of equipment, and altering process conditions.? Depressurizing / pressurizing oil flow lines and performs remote operation and required coordination with field personnel for Rig or Barge moves.? Monitors the Start / Stop sequence of equipment. In case the sequence is aborted, identify the reason and coordinate with corresponding Plant Operator to take corrective action.? Communicate alarms with plant operator to investigate the cause and rectify as required.? Starts Fire Pumps and informs plant operators to activate deluge during emergencies as required.
