JOB DESCRIPTION:Acts as Independent Competent Person for assuring integrity of assets in accordance with the company s HSE Codes of PracticeReviews plant information concerning assigned analysis activities and obtains any additional information needed to understand the problem and the required resolutionDiagnoses problems to determine the root cause. Identifies and obtains assistance as necessary in order to determine the root cause, whether from other departments within the organization or from outside contractors as requiredKeeps the studies on Extension of Trains Turnaround Interval and Heat Exchangers Master Plan updatedDevelops with Corrosion and Inspection Department the relevant HSECES performance standards for design and operation phaseMonitors performance of related fixed assets which caused production loss or high risk to identify short and long term concerns and issue recommendations. Leads and facilitates root cause analysis of high risk eventsBasic Requirements:B.Sc. in Mechanical /Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.12 years engineering experience in the oil refining or petrochemical industry, including at least 6 years supervisory and project management experience in inspection, corrosion management and integrity assurance.Project Management Certification highly desirable.
