Job Description1) Manage the delivery of construction information to facilitate the achievement of the required project cost, programmer and quality.2) Undertake the role of Temporary Works Co-coordinator or Temporary Works Supervisor if requested and appointed to do so by the business? Designated Individual 3) Review and Improvement of Systems & Processes 4) Development of Relationships with Customers and Designers 5) Business and Management Support 6) Managing a design team;7) Managing the design process using his/her commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness and technical expertise;8) Supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements and his/her obligations in the development of a building design;9) Encouraging and inspiring design consultants to produce their best work using their full flair, experience, resources and talents in a cost effective way;10) Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards and codes of practice, where appropriate;11) Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales; 12) Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.13) Design Managers must be good forward planners and excellent motivators as they have to manage large teams with different goals to enable them to work together to produce a coordinated and coherent design. 14) Oversee and direct construction projects from design conception until completionQualification1) Bachelor of Architecture2) 15- 20 Years of relevant experience in Design & Build projects in Construction Industry
