Position: Senior Consultant Asset ManagementPosition can be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi offices.Position Description:Are you the consultant/Senior consultant who is looking for a new challenge?Do you want to support DNV GL's customers to improve their asset management performance within the Energy sector? Then we have the job for you.As an Asset Management Senior Consultant, you will act as the trusted senior advisor of our customers and support them with solutions to optimize their asset performance linked to their business drivers.You as senior consultant will not only work within a team of professionals you will be responsible acquisition, management and execution of projects. You analyze and give advice to customers on how to manage their assets in the most optimal way.Understanding the market, we operate in and delivering high quality content are key characteristics of an Asset Management Consultant within our team. You as an asset management expert shall have knowledge of international standards in the field of Asset management.You shall have in-depth knowledge of business processes related to asset management specifically to electrical utilities. Experience with the rotating machines in conventional generation plants will be an advantage. The experience with renewable power plants will also be preferred.You will also:? Lead and deliver projects related to asset management and asset management processes for utilities or industries.? Lead and deliver projects related to business process improvements, maintenance optimization? Participate to perform field tasks of condition assessment, analyze and interpret measurement- and diagnostic results obtained from field work for remaining life time determination and related recommendations? Start-up projects and monitor progress? Perform power failure investigations? Support with business development as a selling consultantPosition QualificationsWe're looking for an enthusiastic team player who understands the technical consequences of a business decision as well as the business consequences of a technical decision, and can develop and maintain good relations with our customers.And:? You have at 8 -10 years of experience in asset management, preferably working in this field related to Electrical Utilities.? You have a Bachelor degree in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering and Masters in respective engineering fields are preferred.? You have experience on working on establishing systems for asset management standards i.e ISO55000 at utility.? You have experience in mapping business processes, performing gap analysis , development of road maps and standard operating procedures for utilities or industry.? You have hands on experience on performing condition assessment of capital assets such as Generators /Transformers/switchgears in field and at desk.? You have experience in performing asset failure root cause analysis.
