The Senior Accountant is responsible for:1. Supervising all tasks of finance section.2. Timely reporting to all stakeholders.3. Handling monthly closing process, GL transactions, and booking of liabilities.4. Correct and timely import of data from Maxim to Sun system.5. Ensuring payables are processed in timely fashion.6. Correct and timely invoicing to APC and ADWEC.7. Coordinating with internal and external audits to obtain clean audit report.8. Implementing internal accounting, transaction and process controls.9. Supporting the Financial Controller in discharging his responsibilities.10. Reviewing, investigating and correcting errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.11. Adhering to internal and external deadlines.12. Assisting in annual budget process.13. Ongoing budget reviews through Budget Panels with Budget Holders14. Preparing internal and external financial reporting in compliance with IFRS including reporting packs for shareholders15. Supporting ITM O&M mission, vision and values in the performance of daily activities.16. Assisting in all other areas of finance as required from time to time by financial controller
