As a Revit Specialist, you?ll be in the ALEC Precast division in the department of engineering and design. You will participate in the project team as a Structural/Architectural engineer who will assist in engineer the prefabricated concrete elements under the supervision of the lead engineer/designers. Precast elements will be created/developed within the Revit environment by you. As a Revit specialist, you will support the 3D modelling and creating a 3D object library for the ALEC Precast. ? Able to combine, support the design/engineerings team for internal coordination;? Will be the primary contact for internal technical team and GC?s BIM manager;? Ensuring proper folder structure is established for the internal team to use the latest version of 3D models;? Able to convert and important files into Revit software;? Building an internal 3D Object library for Revit software;? Should be familiar with extraction 3D quality images for presentation purpose;? Creating clash/issue reporting for design/technical team by using NavisWorks Manage;? Full understanding of Adaptive components within Revit Families; ? Full knowledge of creating Stairs within Revit Software; ? Quality ensuring of the 3D models as per GC?s requirements regarding LOD and LOI; ? Validate and Audit IFC documentation from design consultants;? Entry-level training for internal BIM team with Autodesk Softwares;? Ensure that all CAD and BIM data delivered to the GC are compliant with the BIM Project Management Plan;? Merging/Synchronising the periodically 3D Models with Navisworks/BIM server;? Co-chairing of BIM coordination meetings with GC;? Being a contact point for the GC?s BIM Manager, internal BIM Leads regarding software, issue reporting, progress measurement and final 3D model data output.
