Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Engineer Marine to join our team! In this role you will get to work in a large project team supporting the delivery of major civil engineering projects.What Youll Be Doing:

  • Lead a supervision team tasked with monitoring and supervising the contractors daily activities, monitoring and reporting on progress, quality and safety commensurate with requirements of the Contract.
  • Representing the interests of the Client and undertake the duties and obligations defined in the Contract.
  • Responsible for the supervision of the works
  • Key interface with the client and contractor
  • Administration of the Contract between the Client and Contractor
  • Certification of payments
  • Monitoring of progress
  • Reporting of progress and production of progress reports
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience
  • Strong contractual background on large projects
  • Experience in leading a large multi-disciplinary team
  • Marine construction experience would be an advantage
What Desired Skills Youll Bring:
  • LEED certification is an asset
  • Candidate must efficiently communicate in both writing and reading the English Language
  • Must be available in UAE
  • Have a proactive and problem solving personality.
