Ensures the highest degree of product quality is achieved via current manufacturing processes. Checks of fit-up on poles and structural steel, weld symbols and a general compliance to the specified detail drawings as well as AWS and AISC specificationsPerforms inspection of incoming products, materials or customer items according to job order, such as - measure and record the dimension of components/parts using measuring instruments and analyze the findings for discrepancy; perform nondestructive test or hardness test (if necessary) and analyze findings and raise report where necessary; take photographs of the components/parts for recording purposes.Perform initial inspection and raise report.Perform in-process inspection according to procedures and customer's specifications. Raise report whenever necessary.Perform final inspection of items including dimensional, NDT and hardness to ensure that all quality requirements or API specifications have been achieved. Analyze result and decide the acceptance level of the final product.Raise non-conformance report and submit to Immediate Supervisor.? knowledge of the conducting PQR/WQT and preparation of welding procedure/welder qualification record as per ASME Code Vessel 1 and AWS D1.1 etc.Ensure quick resolution of supplier quality failures, and implement corrective and preventive actions, through working with Purchasers and Department Managers.Creating and maintaining the Company's Quality Standards; develop, implement and maintain the Company's quality documentation, such as quality procedures, reports etc.Continuously improving Quality procedures.
