Strong commercial awareness and cost effectiveness.Negotiating and influencing skills.Excellent written and spoken English language skills.Excellent report writing skills.Excellent communication skills.Organizational and leadership skills.Ability to manage operations with a diverse multicultural, multinational workforce.Superior knowledge of all aspects of oil & gas related Painting works.??Plan, manage and direct activities of Yard Painting section, with the responsibility of delivering projects in compliance with contractual requirements. ??Coordinate the work of mobilization teams to ensure that all necessary activities are reviewed with actions properly assigned, timescales agreed, and relevant parties properly briefed with communication channels established where necessary. ??Establish resourcing requirements with section heads and Project Management Teams (PMTs) for respective project segments and ensure that adequate resources and expertise are available on all sites to effectively supervise and monitor work, as related to the section. ??Develop and establish the planning package, in consultation with section heads, and PMTs, and monitor subsequent progress against the plans. ??Liaise with relevant staff to ensure that project monitoring systems are implemented properly for each section. ??Review safety & QA/QC plans for all projects, as related to the section, with respective project managers. ??Resolve any contractual/legal matters, as related to the section, and ensure that appropriate actions are taken ??Review demobilization plans of the workforce and plant as projects progress in order to facilitate the relocation of workforce and subsequent utilization or disposal of plant. ??Represent at meetings with clients and third parties, as related to the section activities, and in compliance with Company policy and procedures, negotiating terms and conditions when and as necessary, ensuring that company?s best interests are both optimized and protected. ??Monitor performance of suppliers and subcontractors to verify compliance with planned objectives and contractual obligations. Resolve issues arising from disputes and/or sub-standard performances. ??Monitor client payments and initiate payments to suppliers and subcontractors, as applicable to the section activities, ensuring all terms and conditions have been met. ??Review final documentation (as related to the section) and liaise with the client for the issuance of acceptance certificates and release of performance bonds and bank guarantees, as applicable to the section activities, and in compliance with company?s policy & procedures. ??Participate in formal reviews of all projects with relevant parties, upon completion, to identify opportunities for learning and improvement. ??Establish and maintain good relationships with clients & partners aimed at safeguarding and promoting company?s best interests. ??Provide commercial and technical inputs for the Painting section at the estimation stage, when requested, ensuring adequate provisions are made for all proposed activities. ??Identify training needs of section members and ensure that appropriate training is provided. ??Initiate & develop section manual and suggests improvement in section procedures. ??Keep abreast of industry developments & approves and manages the implementation of technological advances to enhance company?s capabilities.
