1. Manages and closely monitor day to day ship?s operation, commercial aspects for smooth activities at sea and port without delays and accident. Ensuring vessel availability, performance, integrity and safety while providing quality customer service, achieving commercial targets and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards with continues focus on continual improvement to maintain Excellence in Operational and Vessel Integrity Management, Excellence in Health & Safety Management, Minimizing Environmental Impacts, Optimizing Costs and Maximizing Fleet Availability.2. Prepares and recommends commercial operation budget & monitor financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment, while minimizing any unnecessary expenditures.3. Advise when required for all operation related risk assessment in approval and follow up.4. A member of the shore Emergency Response Team for the vessels emergencies.5. Guides Masters and staff on all operation related matters and voyage planning.6. Maintains, reviews improve and develops as necessary the company operations procedures7. Conducts on-board operation inspection and operation related training to ships staff on-board to improve standards, preferably during a short voyage. And follow up on operation deficiencies and defects to closure.8. In charge of all vessel?s operations, voyage, cargo, charter party etc. related reports, records, documents etc.9. Manages all Off-hire records related to the operation. 10. Assists as and when required on miscellaneous projects and initiatives.11. Performs accident/incident investigations, root cause analysis, propose corrective/preventive actions and present findings, if so appointed, in the Incident Investigation Team for any operation related incidents.12. In charge of all pre-post and post fixtures functions, formalities etc. necessary for the safe and effective performance of the voyage. 13. In charge of strict implementation of charters; party T & C and timely / professionally deal with all cargo post fixture issues, off-spec cargoes, cargo claims, tanks/cargo hold preparation issues, stevedores issue/damages etc. 14. Arranges Bunkers and agency as required, with closely Liaising with the vessel and commercial department.15. Maintains, controls and monitors ports calls and charterers requirements, in conjunction with the technical and marine superintendent.
