Job Details:Department: SupportFunction: Maximo and IT SupportBasic FunctionsThe job holder has to:? Ensure a trouble-free running of Maximo application.? Provide first and second level support for all Maximo end users in Company.? Provide customization of the different Maximo applications based on the end-user requirements.? Trouble-shoot and, in a timely manner, solve any issues faced by the end-user.? The solution has to be tested on the UAT environment and once successful has to be updated on the production application.? Ensure proper interfacing with Oracle ERP application and database.Note:? The job holder has to properly coordinate with all the stakeholders to ensure proper running of Maximo application.? Job Holder works in the Engineering Department and reports to the Engineering Manager.? Job Holder can either work during the day or night shift depending on the nature of work to be performed.? Job Holder supports reliable and accessible 24-hour call-out functionality.? Job Holder works equally indoor and outdoor.Main Activities1. Providing Maximo first and second level support for all Company Maximo users, including but not limited to the following:? User creation and modification,? Security group assignments,? Login problems,? Maximo configuration,? Data logging activities,? Data correction via SQL,? User acceptance testing,? Testing environment maintenance,? Production environment maintenance,? Customization related tasks,? Java code related tasks,? Integration related tasks,? Automation scripts related tasks,? Workflow configuration,? Troubleshooting and solving problems,2. Maximo customization and configuration: the job holder is responsible for developing new functionalities, workflows and reports in Maximo by understanding the end-user needs and developing, testing and deploying the needed customization.3. He/she is also responsible for modifying the existing functionalities, workflows, reports, etc as needed by the end user through the proper Management of Change procedure.4. Ensure proper coordination and interface with the Maximo server provider for application related issues.5. Ensure proper coordination and interface with the ICT service provider for network connectivity coordination.6. Ensure proper coordination and interface with Oracle service provider for database and interface with Oracle related issues.7. Testing all solutions, modifications and enhancements in the UAT environment.8. Maintaining up-to-date Maximo documentation (process workflows).Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and SkillsEssential Qualifications? Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Technology (IT) or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.? Minimum of 5 year experience in IT systems with emphases on EMS software, 3 of which are in a similar position.? Expert knowledge in Maximo and Oracle, with Hands-on experience in working with Maximo development and configuration, first and second level support and Oracle ERP interfacing.? Expert knowledge in Windows, Java, Oracle database and SQL server.? Java, C and C++ programming languages.? Advance level in English.Skills? Highly proactive and self-motivated, capable of handling multiple tasks. Problem solving and analysis skills.? Team player, good interpersonal skills.? Good knowledge of preventive and scheduled predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.? Good command of and excellent oral and written English, Arabic is an advantage. Ability to adapt to changes and flexible.
