We currently have an opportunity to join our Network Planning organisation to play a role in developing our Network Intelligence and Systems. In this role you will develop, maintain and enhance tools and systems critical for the accurate implementation of Etihad Airways network, hub schedule structure, long-term fleet strategy and schedule development process in a way that is profit maximising, operationally reliable and aligned to the broader Etihad strategy. In this role you will significantly contribute to the development and delivery ofan economically and operationally optimized passenger and cargo schedule. You will ensure timely and accurate publication of operating and marketing flight schedules and ensuringthat the output is aligned to the broader Etihad Aviation Groups strategy. Accountabilities

• Deliver optimally calibrated work sets to enable the modelling of short term tactical and structural network/schedule/fleet changes, annual budgets and 5 Year Plan scenarios
• Provide network intelligence regarding fair share of Etihad served markets for commercial teams to target and identify revenue opportunities
• Use innovative and Operations Research techniques to improve network planning forecasting accuracies and fleet/schedule optimization results
• Support the schedule development systems and processes that manage long and short-term schedule development, slot portfolio management and schedule publication/distribution for the passenger and cargo schedules
• Propose enhancements to improve the accuracy and usability of Air Vision Planning and Scheduling (AVPS) suite
• Support Alliances & Partnerships and Fleet Planning with modelling of alliance/codeshare scenarios and fleet configuration assessments
• Overall management, testing and implementation of new versions of AVPS suite
• Testing and implementation of enhancements proposed to Market intelligence data sources and its overall business administration
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for Network Planning & Scheduling analytical requirements
• Coordinate with IT, Alliances, Enterprise Analytics, Sales and Revenue Management teams and external system providers for design/development/implementation of projects

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial strategy and planning or operations research roles
• Bachelors degree/post-graduate studies (preferred) in a relevant discipline (i.e. Engineering/Statistics)
• Knowledge of Statistical languages (SAS/R/Python) and BI tools like Tableau/PowerBI
• Strategic airline network planning skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Presentation and Negotiation skills
